الحياة والمسيرة:

ولد “سميح القاسم” لعائلة درزية فلسطينية في مدينة الزرقاء الأردنية. تعلّم في مدارس الرامة والناصرة، وعلّم في إحدى المدارس، ثم انصرف بعدها إلى نشاطه السياسي في الحزب الشيوعي قبل أن يترك الحزب ويتفرّغ لعمله الأدبي .

 ” حسناً لقد حاولوا إخراسي منذ الطفولة سأريهم سأتكلّم متى أشاء وفي أيّ وقت وبأعلى صَوت، لنْ يقوى أحدٌ على إسكاتي “

مقولة القاسم التي جعلت منه شخصا أخر، حيث يروي أن والده كانَ ضابطاً برتبةِ رئيس في قوّة حدود شرق الأردن وكانَ الضباط يقيمونَ هناك مع عائلاتهم، حينَ كانت العائلة في طريق العودة إلى فلسطين في القطار في غمرة الحرب العالمية الثانية، ونظام التعتيم. بكى الطفل سميح فذُعرَ الركَّاب. وخافوا أنْ تهتدي إليهم الطائرات الألمانية؛ وبلغَ بهم الذعر درجة التهديد بقتل الطفل إلى آن اضطر الوالد إلى إشهار سلاحه في وجوههم لردعهم، وحينَ رُوِيَت الحكاية لسميح فيما بعد تركَتْ أثراً عميقاً في نفسه وقال هذه العبارة .

ارتبط مسمى شعر الثورة والمقاومة بالقاسم، حيث يتناول في شعره الكفاح، ومعاناة الفلسطينيين التي طالت، وما أن بلغ الثلاثين حتى كان نشر ست مجموعات شعرية حازت على شهرة، واسعة في العالم العربي.

 ولم تهمد الملاحقة والاعتقال له حتى بالرغم من أن حبره هو الذي يحارب، فسُجن القاسم أكثر من مرة، ووُضِعَ رهن الإقامة الجبرية، والاعتقال المنزلي، وطُرِدَ مِن عمله مرَّات عدّة بسبب نشاطه الشِّعري والسياسي وواجَهَ أكثر مِن تهديد بالقتل. في الوطن وخارجه.

 لم يمكث “سميح القاسم” طويلا حتى عمل معلماً، وعاملاً وصحفياً. وساهم في تحرير صحيفة الغد والاتحاد، لكن روحه الأدبية لم تهمد فعاد للعمل محرراً أدبياً في الاتحاد وسكرتيراً. فيما بعد أسس منشورات “عرسك في حيفا” مع الكاتب عصام خوري . 

الشاعر والقصائد:

يجسّد القاسم من خلال قصائده عمق الإحساس وروح النضال، مع كلماته التي تعبّر عن الألم، والأمل والحب للوطن، يتميز أسلوبه الشعري بالجمال والرقي، حيث يمزج بين الواقعية، والرمزية.

 ليصوغ قصائد تترك أثرًا عميقًا في نفوس القرّاء. تنتمي أغلب قصائد القاسم إلى فترة نضال الشعب الفلسطيني، وتتناول معاناة الشعب تحت الاحتلال وتهجيره، مع تسليط الضوء على الصمود والإصرار .

” يوم ناديت من الشط البعيد
